More Exciting News: University/Academic Committee created
– The NDIA Lone Star Chapter has created this committee to help extend the government-industry relationship to defense-industry-related activities at academic institutions
– The initial mission of this committee will be to establish gainful connections between Educational Institutions to help them address issues specific to the Defense Industry that take place within their area, including but not limited to degree programs, research (such as University Affiliated Research Centers), symposia, certificates or licenses, specific skills in demand, etc.

Modeling and Simulation Mini-Symposium in North Texas / DFW area
We are in the very early stages of planning a symposium that would feature mission-level modeling capabilities from vendors who support tools to contractors who model real products to the customer/end-user, who can tell us whether our models are realistic and more importantly, what they need. The goal would be to bring those groups together in a 1-to-2 day event right here in North Texas. Please reach out to me (mpdietz@hotmail.com) and Scott Chesnut (jschesnu@rockwellcollins.com), who is the board member leading this event, if interested.

Attention: Please let us know if you participate in NDIA Divisions, Working Groups, etc.
Members, we would like to know who from our chapter participates in NDIA. This could be a logistically difficult task given that we are approaching 2000 members, so please reach out to me if you are involved with any of the above and include your role (general participant, chair, etc).

Chapter web page: https://ndialonestar.org/
The web page will have all the latest information, including syndicated news from national on the home page, local news (https://ndialonestar.org/news), and a link to join (https://ndialonestar.org/membership). It’s a good place to check back to regularly!

Our Web Page is Mobile!
Our webpage can be viewed easily on your phone or other mobile device, including the capability to click on addresses and pull up a map to navigate.

Contact and Involvement:
Now we have 20 members serving on the chapter board.
