Mr. J Wayne Trimmer – Past President
Wayne Trimmer is a past President of the NDIA Lone Star Chapter and is a current member of the Board of Directors.
Wayne is currently a part of the global leadership team as a Director for Aquarian Capital LLC, with a focus on capital market transactions, strategic JV’s, mergers and acquisition, as well as consulting services ranging from BPO to supply chain and business development. He is also an EVP for the international firm GALOSI, where he works with clients to extract lost profits via post audit recoveries and expense management auditing services. GALSOSI is headquartered in Dallas with offices in Mexico City and Asia.
As for Wayne’s background, he began his 20 plus years of executive leadership in the United States Marine Corps. After learning the basic skills of a ground Marine, he joined Marine Corps Aviation in the tactical “light attack” community. He was awarded a Bachelor of Science Degree from Southern Illinois University and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Boston University.
Given an opportunity to pursue a civilian career, he elected to leave the active duty Marine Corps and join DynCorp International as an executive leader specializing in the operational management and administration of commercial and government contracts and customer business relationships. Over a six (6) year stint he held various director positions in management.
Wayne joined the global aerospace and defense company EADS as a Director of Contracts, Business Administration and Pricing. He managed various International Commercial Business development/administration activities with the company, including Commercial Sales and Foreign Military Sales (FMS). After five (5) years with EADS, he joined Lockheed Martin as a Director for Advanced Programs specializing in the outsourcing market development and international opportunities for the company. In early 2000 he assumed an executive role at Merrill Corporation in Capital Markets as Vice President and 2008 with IBS consulting.
Along with NDIA, Wayne is very much an engaged leader in his profession and his community. He is a member of the Committee on Foreign Relations (CFR) and World Affairs Council. He is active in the Wharton Alumni group. He is a member of Rotary International and the Chamber. Wayne is also a member of the Association For Intelligence Officers (AFIO) and is a distinguished life member of the U.S. Naval War College Foundation. Wayne is past Chairman of the AirPower Council (APC) and is also the past North Texas President for National Contract Management Association (NCMA) and national Board member of NCMA. He has held Navy League of the United States (NLUS) leadership positions as Council President, State President, Southwest Regional President, National Board of Directors and NLUS Sea Cadets Corps Board of Directors. Wayne is currently a member of USS Fort Worth LCS 3 Ship Commissioning Committee with Kay Granger as sponsor. Wayne is also active in Business Executives for National Security (BENS).
