The NDIA Lone Star Chapter is proud to bring its monthly meeting to El Paso for an exciting evening at the University of Texas at El Paso’s Advanced Manufacturing and Aerospace Center.

Dr. Shery L. Welsh, PhD —  Executive Director of the UTEP Aerospace Center — will present on the center’s groundbreaking work in advanced manufacturing and aerospace research, workforce development, and its mission to transform the Paso del Norte region into a nationally recognized aerospace hub.

Dr. Welsh brings a remarkable career spanning the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Missile Defense Agency, where she led science and technology programs at the highest levels. Her passion for broadening the aerospace engineering workforce and her commitment to economic mobility make this a must-attend event for defense industry professionals, engineers, and educators across the region.
