Topic: How CRs and Shutdowns Are Straining the Defense Industrial Base

Our featured speaker will be Steve Roemerman. Steve is the co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Lone Star Analysis and has served in this role since 2004. Previous CEO roles have included Incucomm® Inc., a business incubator which launched several companies, and Crosspan Technologies, a subsidiary of Raytheon. He has served as an officer or director in more than a dozen other corporations in technology, aerospace, finance, nonprofits, and transportation.

May’s NDIA presentation by Steve Roemerman, CEO of Lone Star Analysis, will explore the ongoing effects of continuing resolutions and government shutdowns on the Defense Industrial Base (DIB). Lone Star’s research shows the impact is felt more in some parts of the DIB. His remarks will frame the challenges created by funding instability and highlight how these issues impact the industry, the workforce, and long‑term defense readiness.
