Brandon Valeriano, Senior Lecturer, School of Social Sciences and Politics, University of Glasgow
Brandon Valeriano is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Glasgow in the School of Social and Political Sciences. Dr. Valeriano’s main research interests include investigations of the causes of conflict and peace in the international system, as well as the study race/ethnicity from the international perspective. Ongoing and past research explores interstate rivalry, classification systems of war, the causes and consequences of military spending dynamics, cyber conflict, popular culture and foreign policy, and Latino foreign policy issues. He is the co-author of Cyber War versus Cyber Reality: Cyber Conflict in the International System (Oxford University Press, 2015); and Russia’s Coercive Diplomacy – Energy, Cyber and Maritime Policy as New Sources of Power (Palgrave Press, 2015).
