Internal and external threats to the security of the Defense Supply Chain have triggered new requirements for government contractors and their suppliers. We’ll address this in two parts:
In Part 1, P. Steve Wheeler will present talk and discussion on what is this thing called “Insider Threat”. What do our customers expect and require and why? What are the fundamentals of an Insider Threat program and what does a good program look like? What are the counterintelligence challenges and threats we are facing along with some anecdotal case examples.
In Part 2, Susan Warshaw Ebner will talk about Supply Chain Risk Management. Why do we need to safeguard the supply chain? What new threats and emerging requirements need to be addressed by government contractors and their suppliers? Susan will discuss some steps that contractors should be taking to better manage and secure their supply chains in the face of these challenges.
